Skoda is preparing for India a budget option MQBDecember 20, 2019
The presentation of the concept car will be held February 7, 2020 in New Delhi. And mass production starts no earlier than 2021.
The Czech company Skoda plans to introduce its new budget crossover for the Indian car market. A car built on the basis of the MQB platform will be presented only in the Indian car market without adaptation for other countries. The assembly of the car will also be arranged in India – this will cost the manufacturer 1 billion euros. At the moment, Skoda has only shared information about the interior of the new car – this was done using illustrations on the teaser.
The interior of the novelty will be made with an orange accent – inserts of this color adorn the deflectors and the center console.
The machine will be equipped with a modern multimedia system, a digital dashboard and a stylish three-spoke steering wheel. Judging by the teaser, customers will be available to light upholstery. The appearance of the car is kept a secret. There is also no information about the technical specifications. If you believe the sources, the motor range may consist of two power plants. The first will be a 1.0-liter turbo engine with a return of 95 or 115 hp, and the second 1.5-liter engine with a power of 150 hp
