Skoda has published a very interesting video!November 7, 2018
Well, in fact, videos that show the assembly process of brand new cars can hardly be called something exciting. Apparently for this reason, the guys from the Czech brand Skoda staged an unusual race between two radio-controlled rally cars Fabia R5.
These small cars built on a scale of 1:10 tons have enough power to accelerate to 100 km / h! Check-in took place on the territory of the automaker’s enterprise in the city of Mladá Boleslav.
I must say that the creators of this video got their plans in mind – it’s really very interesting to watch! While these cars compete with each other, cars are assembled in the background. The racetrack passes through various workshops of the largest Skoda plant (welding, paintwork, engine and assembly shops). The production capacity of this company collects about 1 000 000 cars annually.
By the way, the factory built in Mlada Boleslav was recently significantly upgraded to start production of a new subcompact crossover. The new model of the Czech brand, which will play in the B-segment, should appear in 2019. It is the share of the new model that will account for most of the entire plant plan.
Skoda is in dire need of a new, modern plant to meet high demand. Currently, the brand management is analyzing the prospects for building a company somewhere in Europe. According to the CEO, Skoda car buyers sometimes wait for their car for 8-10 months!
