Skoda has introduced the application Parent Taxi for childrenJuly 22, 2019
Tired of transporting your children just like that? Make them pay for it. Travel fees are household chores, not money.
The Czech company Skoda decided to make life easier for parents – it presented a smartphone application that allows children to “pay parents for trips”. The fee, of course, is not monetary, but it allows children to pay the cost of doing a variety of household chores.
Every parent jokes that he is a taxi driver for his children – according to statistics, 66 percent of parents reportedly think so.
The Skoda Parent Taxi application was introduced after the Czech manufacturer discovered that British parents travel about an additional 2,652 kilometers a year, rolling their children to friends’ homes, sports clubs, and all sorts of circles. If these kilometers were paid at the same price as a London taxi, it would have cost children an incredible £ 12,565!
The application is available free of charge and works on both the iOS and Android platforms, and acts like a real taxi meter, tracking the movement of the car using GPS and encouraging children to do house cleaning, feeding pets, and washing dishes.
This is the app I’ve been waiting for! It’s true that children tend to have a better social life than adults, and as a result, this translates into an infinite number of car trips every week, ”said mom blogger Joe Middleton. “I like to encourage them to do more at home. It’s a great idea to change kilometers for help around the house. ”
