Showed the new G-Class with a luxurious 6-seater saloonMay 10, 2020
The German studio Hofele has made a roomier interior of the new Mercedes-Benz G-Class. Tuners on Sunday, May 10, demonstrated a luxurious SUV with 3 rows of seats and 6 seats, which are located on the 2 + 2 + 2 scheme. Along with this, the improved G-Class received a new body kit and wheels, and leather and Alcantara were used in the interior decoration.
This project was developed on the basis of the flagship variation of the Mercedes-AMG G 63, although at the request of the client, the studio can improve the SUV in any modification.
Original trim materials were abandoned in favor of Nappa red leather and anthracite Alcantara. The inserts on the steering wheel, door cards and the central tunnel are made of carbon fiber. Nevertheless, any materials, metal and wood are available for choice.
The layout of the demonstration G-Class is 6-seater, however, atelier specialists warn that only children or medium-sized people can fit in the third row without problems. The chairs on the gallery are removable – if necessary, they can be dismantled, freeing the luggage compartment. Instead of the second-row seats, you can install a traditional sofa, so the Hofele G-Class can be 4-, 5- or 6-seater.
External improvements include the appearance of custom 24-inch wheels, carbureted wheel arch extensions, elegant LED roof units, chrome on the radiator grille, a new front bumper and a slight improvement in the rear bumper, as well as the abandonment of Mercedes-Benz and AMG emblems in favor of inscriptions and Hofele label.
2 design touches – a casing of the “spare tire”, which is stylized as air ducts in the cabin, and also full-size retractable electric footboards.
However, the changes did not affect the technical equipment of the model. Therefore, the SUV is equipped with a standard 585-horsepower V8 engine with a capacity of 4.0 liters with double supercharging. Together with the engine, a 9-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive work.
the cost of the Hofele off-road vehicle demo is 279,880 euros, in other words, almost 2 times more expensive than the “standard” Mercedes-AMG G 63 (price in Germany – from 152,725 euros). Orders for new projects have already begun to be accepted, and the price for improvements will be determined individually.
In addition, it recently became known that the large Mercedes-Benz sedan received a 1.5-liter engine. The cost of this car in China is 576,800 yuan
