The American automaker Ford and tuning company Shelby have a long history of collaboration that began with the introduction of the iconic Mustang sports coupe in 1965. Over the years, Shelby has introduced two versions of the model, which have been designated the Mustang GT500 and Mustang GT350.

Last week, the tuning company announced special Shelby Signature Editions for both versions of the Mustang. According to the representatives of the studio, all these updates add a large number of different pleasant chips.

The biggest news is the power increase for the GT500SE. The exact figure was never given – the tuner only said that the 5.2-liter supercharged V8 engine can now develop more than 800 horsepower.

A new pulley and coolers have been added to the engine to help it deliver over 40 extra horsepower. compared to the rated power of 760 hp. In this case, the engine must run on 93 octane fuel. The package also adds an upgraded and lowered suspension and a carbon fiber hood to the car. Thanks to the installation of the latter, the total weight of the car has decreased by 13.6 kg. There is also an optional wide body kit.

The GT350SE has a slightly less aggressive exterior, a “sporty interior”, unique wheels and sports tires, and functional styling elements. The Signature Edition is available for the GT350 and GT350R, which were manufactured between 2015 and 2020.

Prices for exclusive versions start at $ 9,995. for the GT350SE and $ 29,995. for the GT500SE. This does not include the price of the Mustangs themselves.
