Shelby F-250 Super Baja or the powerful off-road kingFebruary 23, 2021
Renowned tuning studio Shelby has unveiled an even more powerful version of the Ford F-250 Lariat Ultimate 4×4 truck. The car received impressive off-road capabilities, as well as a more brutal appearance.
If you like the latest Ford F-150 Raptor but would prefer a bigger and more muscular truck, then the new 2021 Shelby F-250 Super Baja seems like the perfect solution. A total of 250 copies of the powerful truck will be built.
Shelby keeps a 6.7-liter turbodiesel under the hood, developing the same 475 horsepower (1,424 Nm) as in the standard pickup.
The suspension has undergone major changes, including the BDS lift system, custom front radius arms, and a dual steering stabilizer. The suspension also features Fox 2.5 adjustable coilovers, including additional rear spring reservoirs. The hardcore setup should allow the truck to handle any rough terrain the owner can find without breaking through.
To further improve off-road performance, the truck is fitted with 18 “rims with 37” BF Goodrich tires. In case things go awry during the adventure, there are a pair of full-size spare wheels on the boot in the cargo hold.
The pickup received a new hood with a functional air valve. The front and rear powder-coated steel bumpers give the vehicle an even more brutal look. The LED strips take up space under the grille and above the roof. The fender flares and front grille are painted in body color. There are electric steps, which are equipped with stone “sliders” and lanterns.
The Shelby F-250 Super Baja costs $ 125,805. This amount includes the donor Ford F-250 Lariat Ultimate 4×4 pickup.
Not so long ago,AutoTimesNews wrote that the Ford Ranger pickup will receive a powerful hybrid version. In terms of pure power, such an engine may be the best for a new car.
