Several prototypes of the Genesis GV70 crossover have been spotted in KoreaOctober 5, 2020
A video appeared on the Internet, which captured several camouflaged prototypes of the Genesis GV70 luxury crossover. The debut of new items will take place in the coming weeks.
The first “spy” pictures of the new GV70 crossover appeared almost a year ago – a prototype of the car was seen on the Nürburgring track. It seems that the engineers of the South Korean brand have again started testing the long-awaited novelty – in the published video you can see several camouflaged prototypes of the GV70 at once.
Despite the abundance of camouflage, it can be seen that the new GV70 will use the two-level optics that the GV80 crossover and the G80 sedan have.
This has already been confirmed by official teasers that we saw at the end of last month (see photo). The overall appearance of the novelty is similar to that used by the larger GV80.
In terms of interior, the GV70 can be expected to get everything the G70 sedan it is built on, including a massive 10.25-inch infotainment screen in the center console, digital instrument cluster, and wireless charging. and the ability to receive updates “over the air”, as well as a wide range of the most advanced safety and driver assistance systems.
According to our insiders, the Genesis compact crossover, which will compete with the German BMW X3 and Audi Q5, will be officially unveiled by the end of this year. Novika will be equipped with 2.5 and 3.5 liter gasoline engines and a 2.2 liter diesel engine. Rear-wheel and all-wheel drive will be available to buyers.
Not so long ago, AutoTimesNews wrote that Genesis hinted at the return of the powerful G80 Sport sedan. According to a spokesman for the South Korean automaker, there is a strong possibility that the second generation of the Genesis G80 midsize sedan could receive a more powerful version, which will receive the Sport designation.
