A clip with a selection of accidents on the Northern Loop of the Nurburgring, which took place in the 1970s, was published on YouTube. All the cars in this video are broken in a bend called Adenauer Forst.
Last year, an hour clip appeared with a selection of modern accidents at the Nurburgring.
At the same time a few months earlier, one of the most massive accidents in the history of public track days occurred on the “Loop”. In the Hatzenbach turn, 14 cars collided due to a coolant leak from the Porsche 911 GT3 RS. In an accident suffered three people.
The “North Loop” is a nearly 23-kilometer track that forms part of the Nürburgring racing complex. Until 1976 Formula 1 races were held here, and now the track takes on the “24 Hours of Nürburgring” marathon.
