See how they nearly ruined the ultra-expensive BugattiAugust 30, 2019
The organizers of the Bugatti stand at Monterey’s Automobile Week – where, in fact, the premiere of the sensational Centodieci project took place – at the end of the exhibition, they gathered to take the hypercar to the warehouse. For this, an ultra-expensive compartment was required to carefully load onto a closed car carrier. So far, everything is logical, right?
However, judging by the video, the operators of the exhibition chose a rather strange method of loading – given that the world premiere of Centodieci has already taken place, and there seems to be no one to hide it from. A car worth several million moves around the site, being completely covered by a cover, so much so that the driver sometimes does not see anything. In a literal sense.
As far as you can understand from the video, those who care about the integrity of the hypercar are still lucky – not a single Centodieci was hurt during the loading process. However, how many nerve cells this procedure cost the driver, one can only guess.
According to some estimates, the base cost of the Bugatti Centodieci will be 8 million euros, and the company plans to collect only 10 of these machines. The hypercar, built in memory of the famous Bugatti EB110 SS, received an original design with references to past decisions of the brand, as well as a forced W16 of 8.0 liters. The hypercar engine develops 1,600 hp, which makes the Centodieci not only the most expensive Bugatti of recent times, but also the most powerful among the serial ones.
