Sedan Nissan Sentra became an electric vehicleApril 25, 2018
Nissan introduced the electric version of the Sylphy sedan at the Beijing Motor Show, a close relative that was sold on other markets under the name Sentra. The novelty was built on the basis of the Leaf electric car.
Nissan Sylphy Zero Emission equipped with the only electric motor that drives forward wheels. The unit is powered by a block of lithium-ion batteries located in the bottom of the car. The sedan is capable of driving without recharging up to 340 kilometers.
The Japanese have not yet shown interior images, but noted that Sylphy Zero Emission has received a multimedia suite with the ability to control the smartphone through a special application.
Nissan also brought the prototype of the electric crossover IMx Kuro to the Beijing motor show, whose world premiere took place in March at a motor show in Geneva. All in all Nissan plans to release up to 20 new electric models over the next five years, most of which will be presented in the Chinese automotive market.
