Second generation Haval H2 to unveil at Beijing Auto ShowSeptember 9, 2020
Fans of the Chinese brand have known the first generation of the Haval H2 compact crossover since 2014. Now Haval is ready to present the next H2.
The debut is scheduled for September 26: the cross will arrive at the motor show in Beijing. Perhaps the new generation Haval H2 will be renamed, but this is just an assumption. Without waiting for the official premiere, the Chinese Patent Office (CNIPA) declassified the new SUV. The second Haval H2 differs from its predecessor in a slightly modified exterior: the exterior mirrors are now mounted on legs, and the design of the front end and stern has been slightly retouched.
But the glazing line and door openings with laconic stampings have practically not changed. Recall that the length of the current crossover reaches 4 365 mm with a wheelbase of 2 569 mm. As for the possible electrification of the SUV, so far there is not even a hint of this. Although the Chinese could very well offer customers a hybrid version of the Haval H2 or an all-electric one.
With the change of generation Haval H2, the brand will probably be able to revive the sales of this model, which have recently “sagged” at a record level.
The current crossover is worth 75,900 – 95,900 yuan
Earlier it became known that the Foton brand plans to present two different pickups at the Beijing Auto Show at once. Something is known about the first new car – it will be named General and will continue the Tunland line. But the second car is kept in complete secrecy.
