SEAT will unveiled its electric hatchback in February

By the end of this month, Seat plans to organize the presentation of its electric hatchback, which, according to preliminary data, will be presented to the world community as “Seat Born”. The basis of the car lay platform MEB, and the stock of its progress without recharging will reach 500 kilometers. Another feature of the future debutant, which will obviously appeal to customers, is the increased ground clearance.
There is no additional information about the technical part of the novelty. According to experts, the Seat Born can get a power plant with a capacity of 170 hp.
The Spanish electric hatchback has a lot in common with the “five-door” Volkswagen ID, however, in terms of design, the company is going to adhere to the previous policy. Recall that in 2012, the company headed for rebranding and successfully followed it. The first copy of the serial car, most likely, should be expected closer to 2020. In the meantime, we are content only with the first very schematic teaser shown in Madrid last spring.
