Seat will present its 7-seat crossover Tarraco on September 18August 1, 2018
The automaker Seat on September 18 will present a new model, which will be the long-awaited 7-seat crossover Tarraco, conceived as an analogue of Skoda Kodiaq. It will be shown to car enthusiasts on the Mediterranean coast in the Spanish city of Tarragona, in honor of which the compact race got its name.
The car will receive from its colleague, Skoda Kodiaq, a similar MQB platform, as well as several gasoline and diesel engines, combined with mechanical and robotic gearboxes. The basic drive will be made front, and the full one will be available as an option. After some time, the brand representatives intend to release a hybrid or fully electric version of the Seat crossover.
Also today it is known that the assembly of the crossover will be carried out at the enterprise, which is located in the German city of Wolfsburg.
Unfortunately, at the moment there is very little information about the future crossover. It is expected that the car will go on sale before the end of this year, but only in Europe. Seat is not represented on the Russian market, and so far no plans to return have been reported.
The standard equipment of the new crossover can include: rear LED lights, 17-inch alloy wheels, ESP, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, four airbags, a leather-covered three-spoke steering wheel, a media system with a touch screen, and a fully digital panel devices.
In more expensive trim levels, the creators of Tarraco will add: keyless entry system, LED lights, and 18-inch wheels, rear-view camera, driver’s seat with electric drive and memory settings, combined seat upholstery.
