Seat showed the first video of the new LeonDecember 18, 2019
A full debut should take place next month. At the same time, the press service began an active teaser campaign, fueling interest in a future presentation.
Judging by the presented video, as well as the well-known information, the model will become the most modern, interesting and youthful in the brand line. In the future, all other cars will be updated. It is already known for certain that the compact hatchback in the basic version will receive adaptive head optics, LED taillights and LED DRLs.
The light design of the model will become one of the main accents of the model. In addition to interesting forms of dimensions and other elements, the car will receive a projection in the doorway on the asphalt with the inscription “Hola!” It will continue in the cabin, where there will be a contour light on the front panel and doors. This luminous strip is a proprietary development of the Seat Technical Center in Martorell.
The new Seat Leon will receive a new generation multimedia system with a wide 12-inch display, a fully digital instrument panel with integrated navigation, several driving modes, as well as electronic security systems.
Under the hood, a motor line will be installed with a working volume of 1.0 to 2.0 liters, capable of developing from 136 to 204 horsepower. A diesel version with a 2.0 liter engine will also be available. Hybrid options will come later.
The presentation of the fourth generation Seat Leon will take place on January 28, 2020.
Meanwhile, Seat has prepared a new version for the Tarraco crossover. Experts assigned this crossover the role of a flagship in the current Seat lineup. Now, Tarraco has become even more attractive due to the new version.
