Seat introduced two new products in FrankfurtSeptember 10, 2019
The Spanish company showed at an international auto show an electric car and a hybrid crossover.
Two new products are on display at Seat’s booth: the compact electric car el-Born and the hybrid crossover Tarraco. The first model is built on the MEB platform, which is also based on the German hatch Volkswagen I.D. The novelty is made in the corporate style of the brand, however, a number of elements indicate that we have an electrified model.
The el-Born is powered by a 204-horsepower propulsion system, which is located on the rear axle and is powered by a 62 kW / h battery. The power reserve of the model is 420 km, and from zero to hundreds, acceleration takes 7.5 seconds.
In the interior of the electric car, it is worth noting the 10-inch screen of the infotainment complex and the digital instrument panel. The exterior stands out thanks to a buried grille and 20-inch wheels.
The second model is the Seat Tarraco hybrid crossover, which was equipped with a power plant based on a 1.4-liter gasoline engine with a capacity of 147 hp. and 114-horsepower electric motor. The total return of the unit is 241 hp. On electric traction, the novelty is capable of driving about 50 km, and up to 100 km / h the model accelerates in 7.4 seconds.
Note that in general, the crossover looks sporty and stylish, especially thanks to wide wheel arches, unique 19-inch wheels, a rear spoiler and a special body color – Fura Gray. The interior of the model boasts a 9.3-inch screen multimedia system, as well as sports seats and steering wheel.
