SEAT checked in a new LeonFebruary 27, 2019
The model was noticed at dusk, thanks to which the fourth-generation SEAT Leon showed the design of headlights and taillights. It is assumed that it will be presented closer to the fall or a little later.
So, at the Frankfurt Motor Show will be presented several models built on the same MQB platform. They will probably be Audi A3, Volksqagen Golf and Skoda Octavia.
In terms of design, the new Leon has been noticeably reworked. The proportions of the model will change, including the longer front part. She will get a lot in common with the Cupra concept crossover, including a similar design of side mirrors and LED headlights. The rear lights are likely to be visually connected into a single element.
The SEAT Leon engine lineup will include 1.0-liter and 1.5-liter TSI, as well as 1.8-liter TSI. The diesel 2.0-liter TDI will be introduced later.
Most configurations will have power up to 150 hp. Maximum power SEAT Leon will be 190 hp A plug-in hybrid is expected, the power of which will be about 210 hp
As standard, it will be equipped with front wheel drive. All-wheel drive system and rear independent suspension will be offered as an option for the more expensive versions.
SEAT has already reported that it is developing an infotainment system for all new models built on the basis of MQB.
