SEAT announces pricing for the new LeonApril 22, 2020
At the start of sales, three gasoline engines and one diesel are offered, which is surprising, because the Sportstourer will be cheaper than a five-door hatchback.
Seat opens order books for the new Leon in Europe. The initial cost for the new Leon is 30 525 euros. Oddly enough, this figure applies to a larger Sportstourer. This is because Seat prefers to supply the least powerful engine at the moment only with a station wagon. This 1.5 TSI with 130 hp Seat puts Leon on the Style Launch.
The five-door hatchback will initially be available at a price of 31,495 euros. This version gets the 150-horsepower 1.5 TSI and is only available as a more luxurious version of the FR Launch Edition. 150bhp 1.5 eTSI soft hybrid will also be available from today. This is the only one of the three options above, paired with a DSG transmission, and now it is available as a launch version for 33,425 euros.
Diesel engine 2.0 TDI with 115 hp currently only equipped with a five-door Leon. In this case, Seat also supplies the car as a version of the Launch Edition. Style Launch Edition includes navigation, a rear view camera, Park Assist and adaptive cruise control. In the FR version, Seat also adds full-LED headlights, a sporty “lowered” suspension, 17-inch alloy wheels and special FR bumpers.
