Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus revealed a truly wild all-terrain vehicleMarch 19, 2020
The press service of SCG published a render for a spectacular all-terrain vehicle, which in fact was “assembled” from a 004 sports car and Boot SUV. So far, there is no data on whether the brand will present a serial version of the resulting rally car.
The popularity of sports cars has been growing recently at a very fast pace, as more and more companies are striving to develop vehicles that can move fast, regardless of the type of terrain. What is only the creation of the tuning company Ruf, which was called Rodeo Concept, and the Gemballa studio introduced its Avalanche 4×4 – all these cars are based on the Porsche 911 sports coupe. SCG apparently does not want to stay – a couple of minutes ago, the guys presented their render sports car for rally.
The new product is somewhat similar to the 004 supercar (pictured), as well as the Boot SUV, which took part in last year’s Baja 1000 rally.
Although both cars were created for racing, they are very different from each other. One of them is a lightweight car designed to drive at high speeds along the racetrack, while the other was designed to overcome the roughest roads, and yet SCG is trying to combine the two cars to create a rally car.
There are rumors that SCG is considering creating a production version of the presented sports car for the rally. So far, there is no data on whether such a car will actually appear, but it would certainly be interesting for us to see an off-road car with a central driver’s seat, a winch and a chunky rear wing.
