SCG Baja Boot will receive a new engine

The American company Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus can offer the Baja Boot SUV with a new, more efficient engine.

Recall that the Baja Boot, which was introduced last year, is equipped with a 460-horsepower naturally-aspirated 6.2-liter LS1 V8 engine as standard. Optionally, the SUV can be equipped with a 650-horsepower LT4 V8 unit with 6.2 liters turbocharged from Chevrolet.

The C7 Corvette ZR’s 6.2-liter turbocharged LT5 V8, which produces 755bhp, can now be added to the lineup. (969 Nm). At the same time, for the Baja Boot, the power of the unit will be increased to 840 hp. (1050 Nm). At the same time, it is not yet known whether the Baja Boot will receive other improvements besides the power plant. The car also comes standard with AWD independent suspension and 37-inch off-road tires.

It is worth mentioning that Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus is the developer of the SCG 003 hypercar, which was announced in 2013 and first presented at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. Former chief designer of Pininfarina Paolo Garella was involved in the development of the style of the car.

In addition, it was recently noted that the Toyota Crown could transform from a sedan into an SUV. It should be emphasized that this model of the Japanese company has been produced since 1955, and to date, the car has changed at least 15 generations.
