Sales of the updated crossover Suzuki Vitara Brezza beganFebruary 24, 2020
The car premiered at the Auto Expo 2020 in early February.
Japanese automaker Suzuki has launched a new version of the Vitara Brezza crossover. First of all, the novelty will go to the Indian car market. Buyers will be offered to choose immediately from 9 trim levels, which is rare for budget cars. From the exterior, the car received a new radiator grille – while, unlike the latest trends, it is not massive. Designers also redesigned the headlights and taillights. In the cabin, we note an advanced multimedia complex with voice control support. The rest of the interior is made quite concise and ergonomic.
The engine range of the novelty consists of two power plants. A 1.3-liter diesel engine with a 90-hp output was switched from the previous version. And the new was a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine with 105 hp. The diesel power unit is paired with a robotic gearbox, and the atmospheric engine relies on a 6-speed manual transmission. The drive is available only on the front wheels. The car turned out to be quite compact – its length is 3,995 mm, and the width is 1,790 mm. In this case, the wheelbase reaches 2,500 mm, so it will not be too crowded in the cabin.
In India, the Suzuki Vitara Brezza is the most popular crossover – last year it was bought by 125 thousand people. The release of the updated version should further increase sales.
Already in the basic configuration, customers will receive ABS, power windows for all doors, a basic audio system and one airbag. The cost of such a car will be 734,000 rupees. The maximum configuration of the car will receive cruise control, advanced multimedia, a rain sensor, an ESP system, alloy wheels and the possibility of two-tone body painting. You will have to pay 1,114,000 rupees for it.
