Sales of the new Volkswagen Jetta VS7 crossover have begunMarch 20, 2020
Orders for the car began to be taken two months ago, but then the start of sales was delayed.
Volkswagen officially announced the start of sales of the new Jetta VS7 crossover. The first applications for the new product began to be accepted in January, and sales from dealers were supposed to begin in February. However, because of the coronavirus epidemic, they decided to postpone the start of car sales. Today, the first copies finally arrived at the buyers. Recall that the Jetta VS7 is made on the Skoda Karoq platform and has a length of 4,626 mm with a wheelbase of 2,730 mm.
The design of the car largely repeats the appearance of the “younger” Jetta VS5, with the exception of bumpers, glazing lines and large dimensions. The car interior has become more technologically advanced – experts have developed a new climate control unit, as well as added a modern infotainment system. But the dashboard decided to leave in analog form.
As a power plant on a non-alternative basis, a 1.4-liter turbo engine with a return of 150 hp is offered, which works in tandem with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Drive – front only. For the basic version of the Jetta VS7, official dealers in China ask for 106,800 yuan, and the maximum configuration will cost 136,800 yuan.
