Sage Kairm will again perform in the Indy 500 for Dreyer & Reinbold RacingMarch 3, 2019
This year, Sage Caram and the Dreyer & Reinbold Racing team will once again join forces in the Indianapolis 500-mile race. The champion of the IndyLights series of 2013, as in previous years, will perform on the car number 24.
For Caram, this will be the sixth start in the Indy 500 race and the fifth with the Dreyer & Reinbold Racing team, as well as the fourth in a row behind the wheel of the car number 24.
After he spent most of the season with the Ganassi team in 2015, but did not find a place for the full schedule for the next season, Caram appears in IndyCar only on the most important race of the season and all the time on the same team.
His best finish in the Indy 500 remains the ninth place, won in the debut at the “brick building” in 2014, when the pilot from Nazareth was still only 19 years old.
“I am very happy that I will stand for DRR in the race of 500 miles of Indianapolis this year, and I intend to be in the alley of winners,” said Karam. – I just can not believe that this will be my fifth performance in the Indy 500 for the DRR team.
Every year we had a strong car at our disposal, and we went to the top 10 every year, so we just need to get to the finish line. I always have the same attitude, and I’m ready to take our car forward on May 26th. ”
