Ruf Rodeo Concept or the off-road version of the sports Porsche 911March 10, 2020
Atelier Ruf published images of the off-road performance of the German coupe Porsche 911, the novelty was designated Rodeo Concept. The price of a car that is designed for off-road racing has not yet been announced.
Appearance Ruf Rodeo Concept immediately attracts attention with wider wings and plenty of additional equipment for traveling in the desert. Initially, the car was supposed to make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show (March of this year), but the cancellation of the event due to the coronavirus destroyed this plan.
The guys from Ruf did not disclose the specific characteristics of the engine of their new Rodeo Concept. It is only known that to improve dynamic performance, the car received all-wheel drive. The company also made significant changes to the suspension to increase ground clearance and equipped the car with all-terrain tires.
Ruf Rodeo boasts a carbon fiber monocoque. For added safety, there is also a roller cage hidden behind the upholstery above the columns.
The front of the Rodeo Concept is very similar to the Porsche rally cars. A metal grill protects the front panel. The roof rack offers additional storage space and has additional LED lights. A small shovel at the rear of the car is probably not too functional, but creates an additional visual effect.
Now we have access to only one photo of the interior of the novelty – the interior is made using the national colors of the Southwest Indians. We are also shown a set of high-heeled cowboy boots with the Rodeo logo. So far, the car is just a concept.
