RS2 Avant-style tuning kit developed for Audi CoupeSeptember 26, 2020
Prior Design has announced a tuning kit for the Audi Coupe with optics from the RS2 Avant model, which will be released in a limited edition.
The set of improvements so far exists only in the form of computer images, while its appearance is expected this year and will be timed to coincide with the 40th anniversary of the Audi Sport Quattro rally car.
The body kit included in the tuning kit is inspired by the current RS models and features various details that are reminiscent of the original Audi Quattro.
The package includes a custom-made hood with Quattro-styled air intakes over the grille, more aggressive bumpers and more. The kit also includes a spoiler lip, front bumper lip, custom design side mirrors, side skirts, a diffuser and a dual exhaust system.
As for the engine of the Audi Coupe, the model is equipped with a 5-cylinder 2.2-liter 20V turbocharged engine, which was boosted to 311 hp.
Prior Design notes that they will release only 40 copies of the tuning kit for the German Coupe model. Acceptance of orders for a set of improvements starts before the end of this month.
In addition, it was recently reported that the Audi R8 has received a new special modification called the Green Hell, which pays homage to the R8 LMS, which won five victories in the 24 Hours Nürburgring endurance race.
