Rolls-Royce SUV will receive rear seats that extend out of the carFebruary 21, 2018
The Rolls-Royce Cullinan will be equipped with the most unusual rear seats in the class, which will turn the car into a “viewing room”. These chairs, as they say in the company, will always provide “best places in the first row” for observation, for example, over nature or playing children.
The leather chairs, together with the cocktail table, are automatically pushed out of the special compartment in the trunk of Rolls-Royce Cullinan after pressing the button. They are turned back, and the boot lid above them serves as a kind of a small awning, covering from the sun.
Whether such seats will enter into the basic equipment or will be offered for a surcharge, is not specified yet.
The off-road car of the brand will be built on the same chassis as the “Phantom” of the last generation. The model will be offered in two versions: conventional, the length of which is 5.5 meters, and six-meter with an enlarged wheelbase.
Rolls-Royce Cullinan will receive a 6.75-liter V12 engine with a power of 571 and an eight-speed automatic transmission.
It is expected that in the series cars will appear only by the end of this year.
Earlier we reported that Rolls-Royce chose the name for the first crossover and it will be presented at a private event this summer.
