Rolls-Royce has prepared a farewell version of the Ghost sedan
November 14, 2019The new generation model is already undergoing road tests, which can be seen in recent photographs. The Rolls-Royce Ghost of the current generation was first introduced back in 2009, and in 2011 a version with a long base appeared.
The history of the current generation of Rolls-Royce Ghost is drawing to a close. The press service of the brand officially announced the imminent cessation of sales and production. But this news was not a surprise to us. In addition to the fact that photos of a test prototype of the new generation of Ghost have already appeared on the Web, the model itself has been on sale for about 10 years.
However, the company is not going to quietly send the model to rest. In honor of the end of the decade, a farewell version of Ghost Black Badge will be launched on the market. This version received an extremely black finish: a radiator grill, lining on the body, darkened optics and even a figurine on the hood.
Like other versions, the Ghost Black Badge will receive a standard 6.75-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine. It can be assumed that the engine will receive a small boost, but the company has not yet reported the details. It is well known that the special version will receive a retuned suspension, transmission and steering.
Unfortunately, there are very few details about the new generation. For now, only a prototype can be considered. Under the hood there will be a motor with a similar volume. A hybrid modification may also appear.
