Rolls-Royce has unveiled the 2021 Ghost sedan. The luxury British car has received an updated appearance, as well as an abundance of the most modern technologies. The prices for the new product are also known.

The designers of the British automaker did not radically change the exterior of the new generation Rolls-Royce Ghost sedan – after all, this is the company’s best-selling model. Mechanically, however, the 2021 version of the car has changed dramatically. The sedan is no longer based on the BMW 7 Series. Instead, the brand’s engineers built the new Ghost on a completely new architecture. The starting price of the new Ghost starts at $ 332,500.

The front of the novelty has become smoother, with a one-piece lower air intake, which, as it were, twists around the edges and forms small chrome stripes. The autonomous turn signals of the current Ghost are a thing of the past, and the 2021 sedan is even more distinguished by “torn” headlights, reminiscent of those in the Rolls-Royce Phantom.

The rear of the sedan has undergone the lion’s share of styling changes: a bolder roofline, angular taillights, and a gently rounded trunk lid reminiscent of the Phantom sedan.

Minor details such as beveled windows and redesigned wheels round out the new Ghost’s exterior changes.

The center console houses the latest version of the infotainment complex, and the new Ghost gets a fully digital instrument cluster.

Still powered by a V12 engine, the 2021 Ghost sedan has a 6.8-liter unit that boasts 563 horsepower (850 Nm). Thus, the new V12 is slightly more powerful than its predecessor, which was powered by a 6.6-liter engine. It is reported that the novelty weighing 2,552 kg accelerates to 100 km / h in just 4.5 seconds.

The sedan’s suspension has received an unusual damper, which is located on the front upper wishbone. The brand says the world’s first such technology provides even greater suspension control, allowing the suspension to customize its operating style for comfort without compromising stability.

Not so long ago, our publication wrote that Rolls-Royce introduced new logos and corporate color. The British brand has revealed a new corporate logo, which is set in a new font and received different colors. According to the press release, the colors should convey a sense of “royalty and prosperity.” The classic RR monogram remains the same.
