Rolls-Royce Cullinan will receive the edition of Black BadgeAugust 20, 2019
The exclusive performance of the British full-size Rolls-Royce crossover can get more than 563 hp. power.
The luxury automaker from the UK – Rolls-Royce, has a special unit that creates more exclusive versions of conventional models and increases the power of their engines. Just over three years ago, special performances of the Ghost and Wraith models were presented, followed a year later by a similar version of the Dawn convertible, called Black Badge. Luxury cars received updated exteriors and interiors – many elements of black color, as well as an upgraded V12 engine, which was connected to a higher-performance transmission.
It seems that Rolls-Royce is about to crank the same with its Cullinan crossover. Yes, yes, the model will also receive a “black edition”. This is reported by our colleagues – they found a curious document that directly confirms the company’s plans to create such a version of the model.
Currently, under the hood of the most expensive and luxurious crossover in the world, there is a 6.75-liter V12 engine with 563 horsepower (850 Nm of torque). It will be interesting to see if the black Cullinan can boast more performance. It is worth noting that the most powerful car of the brand is the Wraith coupe in the Black Badge version, which has 624 hp. and 870 Nm.
Given that the regular Cullinan has an initial price of $ 325,000, we can expect that the “black version” will be much more expensive. A plug-in hybrid version of the model is also reported, but at the moment it is not known whether the electrified version of the car will have the same “black edition”. Be that as it may, a luxury crossover will sooner or later get more power.
