Rolls-Royce Cullinan turned into a 6.4-meter armored limousineOctober 1, 2018
The German company Klassen, specializing in the refinement of premium cars, presented a new project – an armored limousine based on the Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV. For 1.8 million euros, the company is ready to stretch the car by a meter and reinforce it with armor that can withstand the shelling of a Kalashnikov machine gun and sniper rifles with bullets with heat-treated steel cores.
The length of the usual Rolls-Royce Cullinan is 5341 millimeters. After the intervention of Klassen specialists, the SUV will total 6357 millimeters in length. The wheelbase will also grow by 1016 millimeters. It was offered to equip the car with an additional partition of the rear passenger compartment, a multimedia complex based on the Apple iMac monoblock, a Bang & Olufsen audio system, backlighting and an armored panoramic roof.
Technical stuffing probably remains unchanged. The Rolls-Royce stretch will drive a twin-turbo V12 engine of 6.75 liters, delivering 571 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque. The box is an eight-band “automatic”.
Besides Cullinan, Klassen can strengthen armor and stretch Bentley Bentayga (+580 millimeters), Range Rover Autobiography (+580 or 1016 millimeters), Cadillac Escalade or Mercedes-Benz G-Class.
