The guys from the company Mattel, who created the Hot Wheels series, published a teaser for the autonomous and fully electric modelku Robocar. Selling toys will begin as soon as possible.
A couple of minutes ago, a post about a new partnership with people from Roborace appeared on the official page of Hot Wheels on Twitter, within which the official model Robocar will be created. I note that this machine has a very futuristic style.
Truly autonomous cars may appear in the near future. The guys from Roborace are working on their introduction and promotion, and now the toy series of car models Hot Wheels is ready to support them in this.
Robocar is the world’s first fully autonomous, all-electric racing car designed by Daniel Simon, known for his work on such Hollywood films as Tron: The Legacy, Oblivion and Captain America.
“We represent an autonomous racing car that fits in the palm of your hand. Meet the official Hot Wheels Robocar, which will soon be available wherever Hot Wheels are sold. Let the hunt begin! ”- that’s what the official statement from Hot Wheels says.
For those who do not know. Hot Wheels is a brand of die-cast toy cars presented by Mattel, an American toy manufacturer, in 1968.
Roborace is the first competition in the world for a man + car team, using both automatic cars and manual cars.
