Rimac announced a new version of the 1914-hp hypercar

A young Croatian company will introduce in the US a new modification of the electric car C_Two, the maximum speed of which is 415 km/h

Croatian company Rimac Automobili has published a teaser of a new version of the electric hypercar C_Two, which will be called the California Edition. The premiere of the car will take place on Sunday, August 19.

Rimac C_Two, first introduced in March 2018 at the Geneva Motor Show, became the second model of the young company. Hypercar received an electric motor on each axis, the total return was 1914 hp. and 2300 Nm of torque.

Units that work together with a special single-stage transmission, allow the car to accelerate from place to 100 km / h in 1.85 seconds. The maximum speed is 415 km per hour. The stock of lithium-ion batteries for 120 kWh is enough for 650 kilometers.

In June, the co-owner of Rimac was Porsche, which received 10% of the shares of the manufacturer. The Germans hope that the cooperation of Rimac will help in the further development of cars with “green” power plants. In addition to the development of hypercars, Croats specialize in new technologies in the field of batteries and electrical assemblies, as well as on the human-machine interface.
