Revived Ford Puma Revealed at GoodwoodJuly 5, 2019
The model of the 90s has gone through serious changes, from a small coupe into a compact crossover with an attractive design. In the movement of this handsome man is “soft hybrid.”
A “soft” hybrid is a 48-volt starter-generator and a liter Ecoboost gasoline engine with a turbocharger. Such an installation is capable of developing 123 and 153 hp. Also, the new cross will get a version with a diesel and a half-liter engine and six-speed manual gearbox.
As equipment, the Puma receives adaptive cruise control and seats with a lumbar massage function (for the driver and front passenger), as well as a monitoring system for blind spots and a large trunk for 460 liters.
The model is built on the same platform as the Ford Fiesta, but in size it is much more fellow. In the exterior of the model, too, there are features. For example, “separate” optics in front and behind, which the designer intended means “to move against the modern trend of combining everything.”
