Revealed Ford’s fastest electric crossover
December 2, 2020Ford has unveiled the fastest and most powerful Mustang Mach-E GT electric cross, called the Performance Edition.
Mustang Mach-E GT received a modified engine, as a result of which its dynamics became close to gasoline supercars. The model has an electric motor of the same power of 480 hp, but with a higher maximum torque of 860 Nm (previously 814 Nm). This allows the cross to accelerate to 96 km / h in 3.5 seconds, which is 0.2 seconds. faster GT variations. At the same time, a more powerful engine affected the range of the cross – an 88 kW / h battery makes it possible to cover a distance of up to 375 km on a single charge instead of 400 km for the standard GT variation of the model.
The Performance Edition crossover was equipped with 20-inch alloy wheels, a Brembo brake system with red calipers, sports seats and aluminum inserts on the dashboard in the cabin.
Taking orders for the Mustang Mach-E GT Performance Edition will kick off next spring, with deliveries expected to begin in the summer. The cost of the new item is currently unknown. For example, the standard Ford Mustang Mach-E GT is priced at $ 60,500.
In addition, some time ago it was noted that the new generation of the legendary Ford Mustang model may acquire an all-wheel drive modification. It should be emphasized that this should happen no earlier than 2022.
