Restyled Mercedes E-Class will receive a completely revised frontOctober 16, 2018
The current generation of Mercedes E-Class fell on the conveyor back in 2016, so it is not surprising that the company is preparing a restyling. Photospies got a test prototype, which surprised by a completely revised front end.
Although it is obvious that Mercedes could not apply its design language Sensual Purity to the E-Class, without redoing it completely. However, the German concern did everything possible for the updated W213 creating a new front for it. At least the car looks in line with the modern lineup of the 2019 Mercedes model year.
The design of the design, apparently, is borrowed from the current version of the CLS, while the headlights are taken from the modern GLE. Moreover, the engineers tried to give the model a more aggressive style due to angular LED DRLs.
Unfortunately, the dense camouflage does not give us the opportunity to examine in detail the new bumper, but you can see wide air intakes, and a more aggressive design.
The presentation of the restyled Mercedes E-Class will take place as early as next year, as a 2020 model.
In the meantime, Mercedes-Benz may have begun testing electric EQA. The lack of exhaust pipe indicates complete electrification camouflaged A-Class.
