A team of mechanics brought to life the car from the Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo 6 simulator

A mechanic named Jack Lee shared a video on Facebook in which he talked about the creation of a replica of the Bugatti Vision GT hypercar from the game Gran Turismo 6. The full-size prototype, equipped with a V8 engine, was assembled in a regular garage.

The Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo show car was shown in 2015. The concept was developed specifically for the racing simulator Gran Turismo 6, and Alexander Selipanov and Etienne Salome worked on its appearance. At the same time, it was reported that the creators of the two-door were inspired by Bugatti cars that won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the late 1930s, in particular the Type 57 Tank.

The real Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo was built in a single copy and previously belonged to the Saudi prince Badr ibn Abdul-Aziz Al Saud. Later, the hypercar was acquired by the head and founder of the retailer Tilly’s Hezi Shaked.

Jack Lee’s team decided to build a replica hypercar in a simple garage using materials at hand. The machine was based on a chassis made of pipes welded together; the body was made of sheets of metal, which were given an authentic shape. To be more similar to the original, the car was painted in blue Bleu de France. The car is driven by a V8 engine. There are no other details about the power plant.

Bugatti replicas don’t always come out as well as Jack Lee’s team. For example, at the beginning of this year, Vietnamese bloggers built a very cheap analogue of the Chiron from cardboard, the sheets of which were fixed on a spatial frame. Instead of a motor, they used a bicycle pedal drive.
