Renders of the Lamborghini Huracan STO Spyder appeared on the webNovember 22, 2020
Independent designer Nikita Aksenov presented his vision of what the Italian supercar Lamborghini Huracan STO in the back of the Spyder roadster can become.
At the moment, the Huracan STO supercar is sold only in a coupe body, but our compatriot and talented artist Nikit Aksyonov presented a render depicting an Italian car in a roster body.
The Lamborghini Huracan STO was built using “the knowledge gained from the Lamborghini Super Trofeo racing program”.
To celebrate the success of the Super Trofeo racing program and to share this knowledge with customers, the Huracan STO was created. STO stands for Super Trofeo Omologata, which is a designation from Lamborghini that states that this is a real racing car that is allowed to travel on public roads.
The Huracan STO has a host of aerodynamic enhancements like a true race car, including an adjustable carbon fiber rear wing, shark fin for high-speed stability, a bucket on the rear hood, redesigned front end for more cooling and downforce. Most of the Huracan STO body panels are made of carbon fiber to keep weight down. Add to that a thinner windshield and magnesium wheels and you have a car that’s now 43 kg lighter than the standard Huracan Performante.
Power comes from the same V10 engine used in the Huracan Performante Evo racing car and produces 640 horsepower. The V10 is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission that sends power to the rear wheels wrapped in a tire specially designed for STO by Bridgestone.
Not so long ago, AutoTimesNews wrote that Lamborghini presented a new supercar Huracan STO. Italian brand Lamborghini showcased the new Huracan STO supercar.
