A new subcompact crossover with a length of up to 4 meters is being prepared for the presentation. While the model is known under the factory index HBC, and is preparing for debut in early 2020. Sales will begin a little later.
Renault is preparing for the presentation of a new crossover, built on the basis of an extended platform CMF-A. The same platform is the basis for the new cross-van Triber. The debut of new items is scheduled for the first quarter of 2020 at the Indian Auto Expo in New Daily.
Like most budget models in the Indian market, and some other Asian markets, the new Renault HBC crossover will receive a body with a length of not more than 4 meters, which is due to local tax benefits. The design will be made in a modern corporate style, of course, taking into account the cost. Of the features, one can distinguish a branded V-shaped radiator grille, as well as a silver skirt on the front bumper. An “off-road” body kit will be available as an additional option.
As a power unit will offer a non-alternative 1.0-liter engine from Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi. Officially, its characteristics were not called on the new model, but experts are sure that the capacity will be about 95 horsepower. Paired with it will be installed a mechanical transmission or CVT. Drive – front.
Production and sales will also begin in 2020. Cost has not yet been announced.
