Renault unveils Zoe Van electric minivanJuly 17, 2020
Previously, the car was only available in a compact hatchback body. The Zoe Van will receive two trim levels and should go on sale before the end of the year.
Renault presented the Zoe Van electric car in the back of a hatchback. Good sales of the hatchback pushed the leadership of the brand to such a step. The main difference from the classic body type will be the presence of cargo space instead of the second row of seats, and the rear windows will be opaque.
The technical characteristics of the car are already known – it will be driven by an all-electric motor with a capacity of 107 horsepower. Thanks to the use of a 52 kWh battery, the Zoe Van will have a range of 395 km without additional charging. When using a powerful 50 kW charger, the battery gains 80% charge in 70 minutes, and a power reserve of 145 kilometers is provided in half an hour.
It takes about 3 hours to fully charge from a 22 kW station. The cargo compartment turned out to be quite spacious for the small dimensions of the car – the length of the cargo can reach 1,205 mm, and the width is 1,110 mm. The maximum load weight is 387 kilograms. The car will be available in two different trim levels – Business and Business +.
Already in the starting configuration, you can count on an informative digital instrument panel, a 7-inch multimedia system with a touchscreen, power windows for all doors and full LED headlights.
Sales of new items will start before the end of this year, and the cost of the launch version will be 19,380 pounds
