Renault showed details of the new electric crossOctober 2, 2020
Renault has shared a promo photo of the concept cross, the design solution and style of which the serial electric car will be based on.
It is noted that the new electric car should appear next year. The widespread fragment shows the lower headlight region in the form of a light-emitting strip curved in the form of an open corner, visually resting on a dimensional decorative piece with a “gold” coating.
At the same level, the front of the car is crossed by a concave panel that simulates a radiator grill with vertical panels. The car has a body that is painted in light brown metallic.
According to the assumptions, the production car, which heralds a conceptual model, will become a subcompact cross. The length of the novelty will vary from 4 to 4.2 meters. In turn, the new model will be built on the modular architecture for electric cars CMF-EV developed by Renault Nissan Mitsubishi alliance with a battery that will provide a power reserve of up to 600 km on a single charge.
The conceptual electric cross will be shown at the Renault eWays corporate public conference, at which the French company plans to showcase a long-term plan to move to carbon-free energy.
In addition, it was recently noted that Renault Megane could become a crossover. At the same time, this can happen after a change in the generation of the popular car of the French company. True, you will have to wait a few more years.
