Renault Sandero 2020 model year fully revealedDecember 6, 2019
The compact hatchback from the French concern has become very popular all over the world. And now the company is preparing to launch a new generation, which will become a completely different car.
Most recently, the first photos of the new Renault / Dacia Sandero version appeared on the Web. Even despite the tight camouflage of the test prototype, you can consider a completely new design. According to preliminary information, the debut will take place next year, and it will be a completely new car.
Budget and compact model will be built on a modified platform CMF-B. That is, the company will refuse to use the B0 platform for this model. Although there is a possibility that the new platform will be used only for the European version. In the markets of developing countries, actual modification will develop.
At the same time, a number of independent designers are trying to imagine what the new Sandero will look like. Judging by the fresh render, the new product will get similarities with the Renault Clio, although the design will be somewhat simpler.
The motor line is also unknown. It can be assumed that the new 1.3-liter engine from Renault and Mercedes will pass by the model – it is too expensive. Although it is likely that the company will add a more powerful version with a hybrid installation of 140 forces. It is equipped with a 1.6-liter gasoline engine, an electric motor and a 1.2-kW battery.
The new Renault / Dacia Sandero and Logan will be presented next year. The price tag may increase by 200 – 300 euros.
Meanwhile, the flagship Renault Espace minivan has been seriously updated. The automaker did not redraw the appearance of its model, but made it more perfect technically.
