The fifth generation of the compact hatchback officially debuts as part of the Geneva Motor Show, starting in March. It is known that the new generation of the popular model will acquire a fully virtual dashboard and advanced multimedia with a large vertical touchscreen.
Renault opens the veil of secrecy: the automaker showed in the photo the interior of the new hatchback Renault Clio. A couple of days before, fans of the brand were teased by the first video teaser, where the interior of the novelty partially flashed for only a couple of seconds. Technical details, as well as the appearance of the car will be declassified tomorrow, January 29th. But the presentation of new items will have to wait until March – Clio will become a participant in the Geneva Motor Show.
Renault admits that when working on the fifth generation Clio, about 70% of the time was spent on interior design.
The novelty received a digital dashboard, a modern multimedia with a touch touchscreen at 9.3 inches (and the developers placed the display vertically), a new multi-functional steering wheel, an older glove box, as well as rich personalization options in terms of trim. The hatchback has changed the center console, there are wireless charging for gadgets and atmospheric interior lighting.
