At the motor show in Frankfurt, the second-generation Renault Captur crossover debuted, which has now become brighter and more spectacular. Already in the basic versions, customers can count on LED optics. In addition, with the change of generation, the SUV became more expensive than its predecessor: the length grew by 100 mm, the width – by 19 mm, and the wheelbase – by 33 mm. Trunk volume went to “plus” by 81 liters and now stands at 536 liters. The new platform was based on the modern CMF-B platform, and the manufacturer used better materials when decorating the interior of the car.
So, in the cabin of the new Captur there are improved seats, a different center console, modern multimedia with a 9.3-inch screen, as well as wireless charging for gadgets. In addition, the novelty receives a more advanced set of active and passive safety systems.
Personalization options have also become richer: these are 90 body colors and 18 color combinations of interior design. The motor line of the novelty consists of a liter turbo engine with power from 100 to 130 hp, a 1.3-liter 155-horsepower gasoline engine and a one and a half liter diesel engine with a return of 95 or 115 hp A couple of them are 6-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed “robot”.
