Renault will still begin production of a new electric crossover. Rumors about his appearance began to go around 1.5 years ago. Now the prototype for the new car is already known – it will be the Morphoz concept car, which was introduced in March this year.
The words of the chief designer of the French brand only confirm this – Lawrence Van Den Aker noted that Renault has long been looking for an option that would suit as a design. And now there is already a clear candidate. In this case, Renault will give customers the opportunity to personalize their car – what elements can be used for this, not yet reported.
It is already known for sure that the new electric car will receive a crossover body, due to the high popularity of such cars.
Through the use of a fully electric power plant, it will be possible to increase the space in the cabin. The wheelbase of the new car will become longer. It is already known that the car will be built on the CMF-EV platform – it is known for being used for the Nissan Ariya cross. But information about the total return of the engine and its power reserve is still unknown.
