Earlier this year, the French automaker introduced the world to the updated Megane hatchback and wagon, and now Renault is unveiling a restyled four-door sedan with design elements from both the Megane and its older brother Talisman.

A year after the presentation of the current generation Renault Megane hatchback, the French brand presented the world with a universal version of the model. A few months after the debut of the most spacious Megane variant, Renault has expanded its international supply range with the all-new Megane sedan.

It is worth noting that the Megane sedan has not changed dramatically. Like its hatchback and station wagon siblings, the sedan features new Pure Vision LED headlights with distinctive C-shaped headlights, as well as a new front bumper and revised grille. Smaller updates include slightly redesigned wheel arches. At the rear, Renault is installing a new bumper with integrated (fake) trapezoidal tailpipes.

Inside, the adjustments are also marginal. The refreshed Megane sedan, like its sister models, is now also available with a new large-screen digital instrument cluster from 7.0 to 10.2 inches. The center tunnel houses a 9.3-inch infotainment screen.

Renault is adding new buttons to the steering wheel and redesigning the climate control buttons below the media screen. The sedan also gets new systems, including adaptive cruise control with Stop & Go, an emergency braking system that now also recognizes pedestrians and rear cross-traffic alert.

According to the press service of the French brand, the updated Renault Megane will be available with a three-cylinder 1.0 TCe engine with 115 hp. and the 1.4 TCe version with 140 hp. The sedan is also available with a 1.5 Blue dCi 115 hp diesel unit.
