The third generation hatchback will be presented on September 7
Renault has published a short video with the third-generation Sandero hatchback optics. At the end of the teaser, the brand announced the date of the premiere of the novelty: it will take place on September 7.
In the first part of the video, you can see the front optics, which will go to the “all-terrain” modification of Sandero – Stepway. The new hatchback will receive a completely redesigned front end and headlights with a complex pattern and LED strips, under which are located round foglights.
The second part of the video reveals the horizontally oriented lanterns of a regular Sandero with new content, but without diode elements. Judging by the picture, with the change of generation, the hatchback will receive narrower rear pillars than the current model.
On the eve of a subsidiary of Renault, Dacia, shared the first official images of the new Sandero, Sandero Stepway and Logan sedan, some of which are visible in the dark silhouettes of new products. Cars of the third iteration will move to a simplified version of the CMF-B Renault Clio, which will allow the company to save on production.
The range of engines can include gasoline engines with a capacity of 65 to 100 horsepower, a 1.5-liter diesel engine (85 or 115 horsepower). Top of the range will be the 140-horsepower E-Tech hybrid powertrain, which may go to Sandero Stepway.
