Renault has published the first teaser of the new crossover Renault KigerNovember 17, 2020
The French automaker has announced the debut of a concept car that is expected to be the harbinger of the Kiger pseudo-crossover. However, the serial version of the model should not be expected before 2021.
A teaser video posted by Renault on Twitter showcases the concept’s all-LED optics with dynamic elements and a bright green-lit spoiler. At the same time, the name of the new item has not yet been revealed.
Previously, speedme.ru has already shared information about the new product. So, it was reported that Renault was forced to postpone the release of a new model, which should compete with the budget Nissan Magnite. The Kiger is expected to be built on the same platform (CMF-A +) as Nissan’s subcompact SUV, and therefore will share the engine range with it.
Despite the fact that Kiger still has the status of a concept, the company is already testing the crossover on public roads, and the “photo spies” even managed to look into the interior of the novelty.
Earlier, we will remind, images of the interior of the new Renault Kiger crossover appeared on the Web. It is reported that the presentation of the production car will take place next fall. In the meantime, the brand showed only the concept, and the journalists who were present at the time made sketches of the car’s interior from memory, which they could see through the tint.
