Renault Clio RS: the new “charged” hatch on the first imagesFebruary 4, 2019
Despite the fact that the new (already the fifth) generation of the hatchback was presented quite recently, it is not long to wait for its sports version. In anticipating the official presentation, the designers decided to present their own vision of future new products.
The design studio X-Tomy Design presented a series of renderers demonstrating the likely design of the new Renault Clio RS. The model has not yet been officially presented, but experts have something to rely on with their assumptions. The new generation of “civil” hatch borrowed a number of stylistic solutions from Renault Megane.
So, the designer decided to use similar solutions from the Megane RS, adding car style and aggression, expressed in the new body kit, large alloy wheels, chess foglights, as well as a two-tone yellow and black color. All these elements are characteristic of the sports Megane RS, and will have to migrate to the “charged” Clio RS.
What will be used as a power unit is not yet known, but it is likely that a similar motor from Megane will be used. That is, the model can get a 1.8-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 250 horsepower.
Unfortunately, the company has not yet commented on the appearance of these images, and also does not disclose its plans for the future Renault Clio RS.
