According to the European research company JATO Dynamics, Renault Captur was able to enter the top three best-selling cars in Europe. And this despite the completion of the model life cycle. In other words, the model is already outdated, being on the market for eight years, and having gone through several restylings. At the same time, the model turned out to be a bestseller in the crossover segment.
Volkswagen Golf has become the sales leader in the European market as standard, sold in June in the amount of 37,569 units only in the European market, which accounted for a 13.9% drop in sales. The second place went to the Renault Clio with a score of 35,972 (-9.9%). Three leaders closes Renault Captur, sold in the amount of 28,186 units (+ 5.2%). Volkswagen Polo (24,005 units; -32.1%) and Dacia Sandero (23 150 units; + 4.5%) were in the fourth and fifth places.
Next, the places in the ranking are as follows: Dacia Duster (21,663 units, + 10.8%), Opel / Vauxhall Corsa (20,932 units, -6.8%), Ford Fiesta (20,922 units, -18.5% ), Peugeot 208 (20907 units, -4.3%) and Volkswagen Tiguan (20603 units, -17.5%).
