Renault announced a mysterious new modelNovember 3, 2020
The French automaker showed a teaser for its upcoming new car. Probably, we are talking about the new Renault Trafic light-duty truck.
Representatives of the French brand are still keeping the name of the model a secret. The brand accompanied the teaser with a very intriguing inscription: “For the 40th anniversary … one of our most iconic cars is undergoing a change.” At the same time, Renault noted that buyers will certainly like the result.
Renault Trafic celebrates its 40th anniversary in the model range of the brand. Another clue is the grille and headlight, similar to what we saw on our test prototypes. There is practically no information about the new Trafic. Auto experts expect that the model will receive a “refreshed” design, as well as get a new hood (it will be higher than the current Trafic). At the same time, the French will not radically rework the model. The interior will also be updated. Probably, the upgrade will also affect the motor range: the novelty can get a fully electric motor.
The Renault Master, for example, has an electric powertrain similar to the Zoe.
Nothing concrete has yet been said about the debut of the novelty. However, Renault advises everyone interested to keep track of the prime minister’s schedule. So, apparently, the French are not going to delay the debut of a new car.
Meanwhile, the renderings showed a hatchback that could be the successor to the Renault 5. This car is still remembered by Europeans, as it was quite popular. The designer decided to give an imaginary novelty a futuristic look.
