Rare Porsche 911 model for saleJune 29, 2019
The sale of the car is engaged in the American auto show Duffy’s Classic Cars, located in Iowa.
The creation of a rare car is the Strosek auto studio from Germany, which has existed since 1971. Its employees offer their own vision of car design to fans of the brand. Atelier is not so well known in the world, as, for example, Gembala, Ruf. However, each “produced” Porsche 911 rarely appears on sale.
The sports car is very recognizable: according to the manufacturer, all the cars from the first to the last generation have a clear continuity, which can be called a unique phenomenon. And this is true: from 1963 to today, this coupe has retained its profile and features attached by designers.
But still, some auto studios are trying to bring something of their own into the traditional exterior of the car. For example, this Porsche, modernized Strosek, received a converted front and rear body parts. Head optics made small: this was fashionable in the 90s. Black color makes the car elegant, and chrome rims give some chic. Under the hood was put a 6-cylinder unit of 2.7 liters, which rarely “nursed” 100 thousand km due to the high operating temperature of the unit. To this, engineers had to go because of the tightening of environmental requirements in Europe.
In 2020, the company plans to show the Porsche 911 coupe in retro style in the form of special Heritage Design models.
